2017-2018 PTA Programs

This year will be packed with educational and enrichment activities from Sept to May. Here are just a few of the things the PTA is making possible with your help!

 

 

sept. - may | accelerated reader

 

This motivational reading program is offered to all students once they know the first 100 sight words.

 

Students will get rewarded based on the number of points they receive.  Read a AR book, take a short online quiz, and earn points. Get reading and have fun!  

 

oct. 25 | Hoedown

Food, music, dancing, performances, games, pumpkin decorating contest, photo booth, and much more!  It's a family event.

 

CRE's Annual Hoedown will take place on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, 5:30-8:00 p.m. Dust off your boots & join us for this fun fall-themed event!

 

oct. 30 - dec. 4 | skeegie science academy

All Coral Reef Elementary students get hands-on science lessons from Nature Postings in our Outdoor Classroom. This Fall, students will get a Mounted Messages lesson using microscopes and prepared slides.

 

nov. 3 - april 13 |  cre on the run

 

 

The PTA's most popular after school club is back this year!  Weekly Friday meetings begin November 3, 2017.

 

nov. 17 | holocaust survivor program

Fifth graders will get a visit from Holocaust Survivors and learn about the Holocaust from first-hand accounts.

 

dec. 6 | career day

"Carnival of Careers" will take place on the PE fields, and will be geared to those with outdoor professions and hobbies.  Police officers, Coast Guard, Firetrucks, airboats, food trucks, etc.  If you are interested in participating, please contact Lauren Fuller at lleighmkb@aol.com, or Beth Person at beth.cre.pta@gmail.com.  

 

jan. 8 - feb. 2 | bricks 4 kids

The PTA is excited to offer the Bricks 4 Kids Legos and Robotics program for the second year in a row to all Coral Reef Elementary students.

Celebrate the end of the year with outdoor fun, bouncing and playing games on giant inflatables on the school field.
