Hour of Code Event - Thursday, Dec 7th

Computer science is foundational for every industry today, yet most schools don’t teach it. At Coral Reef Elementary, we are trying to change that. That’s why our entire school is joining in on the largest learning event in history: The Hour of Code, during Computer Science Education Week (December 4-10). I'm hoping you will join our Hour of Code event!

HOW IT WORKS:

  1. Setup a computer or tablet for your child in a quiet place on Thur, Dec 7th.
  2. Navigate to http://hourofcode.com/ and click the TRY IT button.
  3. Select a one-hour tutorial from the list and click START button.

NOTE: 2nd / 3rd / 4th graders will be doing their hour of code in-school during library. K / 1st / 5th graders  - will not be doing it in school so will need to do it at home in order to participate. Certificated of completion can be printed at home as well.
